Today was the last day for community course!
HOORAY!
And it was a really nice ending to it.
Today we got to shadow members of the primary health service.
So as for everything in medicine, who we got to shadow, was based on a first come first serve basis.
so I was up at 7 am in the morning, and managed to get there by 8.05, just in time to be attached to Dr. Ritchie and shadow his morning clinic ( or as they say here, morning surgery )
Yup, it was a really interesting time indeed. The doc was an interesting character. Not too wishy washy, but still showed the right amount of empathy and concern for his patient. Quite capable at handling sudden crisises rather professionally and with the right amt of sympathy. And he's a funny guy too and takes the teaching of his students seriously and doesn't treat them like stupid fools. lotsa plus points on that!
It was a good end to 2.5 years of community course, the next time we will meet again will be at the presentation of our stupid community course papers. Of which I am really irritated and frustrated about now, and frankly speaking want to hang myself by being so itchy backside and selecting such an ambiguous and analytical topic. But then again...almost all the topics in for group A is the same so I can't really complain....but I want to complain against group B which has got the most straight forward topics! WTF!!!! BIAS!!! the letter A does not mean that we are by any means better....shitheads!
yup...but on a happy note, went shopping at Debenhams today and lo and behold it was Blue Cross Sales! Dun ask me what it is , but it's one of the many well appreciated sales that Aberdeen has! hooray!
Managed to get a dress and camisole top from John Rocha ( dun noe who this is ) for a grand total of 19.50 pounds ($60) since they were going for 70% discounts. It was a very nice surprise because I thought I was going to pay a total of 28 pounds going by the discount tags on the clothes but apparently there was a further 70% discount on the discounted prices so it was great! And they're really nice pieces so it was added bonus! Whoo hoo!!!
haha....ok lah...that's hte end of my post commemorating the end of community course!
