Aah...typing this in my best friend Meg's backyard.
The windchimes are chiming sweetly, the wind is blowing strongly, the Sun is not in my face.
This is the greatest.

Yes...I'm here sorting out her messy collection of anime. Meg babe, if you're going to download something i think it best that you burn them and store them properly.
Having nicer handwriting would also be for the best.

Anyway, as I'm now sitting here, waiting for Ms Lim to finish Chemistry tuition,
I think I shall update my blog, which has been festering all these while.

Well, this morning, I attended this really ridiculous assembly talk.
yes, minasen, if you are christians (aka protestants, catholics etc.) please visit
the Teza prayer camp in France one day before you are thirty.
right...and just a couple of weeks ago a particular someone said that
as a catholic school, it is our duty to teach students about christianity or something to that effect
walau...and now you are asking them to make a trip to this camp thingy.
man...please leave them to their own beliefs lah. a whole 15 minutes talking abt this.
Asking them to ask their parents somewhere in the near future to send them to this camp thingy. talk about having an assembly talk which probably has nothing to do with at least 40% of the students.

And things are truly not the way they used to be in the past.
The freaking little shits are so empowered by MOE, that any little thing which
does not go to their liking results in major complaining on the parental and individual front.
Give me a break lah! Back in the day when we were shouted at and scolded soundly,
we just took it like a 'man'.

haiyah...poor teachers. the new age slaves.

right...todya I have lots to say.

FIrst off...I think this job is really beginning to wear me thin.
Why...not only of the job specifics but the whole routine of the day.

Wake up at 6. Switch off my alarm and lie in for another 5 min.
then stir myself and get up, have breakfast, brush teeth, wash face, apply toner, apply moisturizer, put on contacts.
Blah be blah...
then go out and catch the 74 that arrives at 6.35.

and then the fucking brainwashing begins.
Every year, during this godforsaken month...yes i'm not saying this because it is qing ming, but more because of the freaking prevalence of red and white all of a sudden.
yes...national day.

sudden burst of patriotism. sudden advertisements of overseas singaporeans
suspiciously feeling home sick...( from what I see, they just want their few seconds of fame on national TV) but hey! If they are not even in Singapore how are they going to see their faces on TV anyway?

Right...so from 6.30am to 7 it's the anime session where they show some disgusting robot anime
ok. I dun have that much against robot anime except that it's stupid...but what makes
it more irritating is when they show the DUBBED ODEX version of the anime.
It's stupid, it's irritating, and it really makes you want to throw up.
The throngs of smelly, disgusting school kids doesn't make it any better.

right...so after enduring like half and hour of stupid americans trying to act cute
then comes the bloody national day pop song, sung by our supposedly talented Singapore idols.
My goodness...give me a break!!!

I think they are not singaporean idols. They are more like...
'singapore want to act like american idols'.
The malay guy with his stupid hat attempting (but failing seriously short) to look like Michael Jackson.
The chao AH beng, who can't even hold a note in tune.
The squeaky act cute girl, who stretches her high notes so thin, it could break glass. She's the most irritating of all.
and there's the punk girl...i think she is so not in the whole foray that i can't say much about here.

and geez...the song is so annoying, all that blah blah blah about
dreams coming true and all that...yeah right...for the undeserving selected few.
and have you noticed, somehow those messages never seem to change throughout the years.
Does it mean that we are either swirling about in the same mess of life year in year out
or are the music composers so brainless they can't think of better lyrics.
Oh wait! just thought of another possibility...
Maybe (in quite a great contrast to the whole hullabaloo of remaking singapore) they are just sticking to things SAFE....right...same nice message, pleasing to the masses, motivational for about a month whilst they are being routinely grilled into your brains.

ok lah...i think one of the real reasons why I hate this song is because of that stupid squeaky girl and her horribly off high notes...geez...

wah! and guess wat! They are going to take up more valuable TV time!
Precious TV time that can be spent watching some truly funny, and NON-AFFECTED series!
yes...'SHOOTING STARS'
My goodness...more of those idiots. Are they really having such a difficult time breaking the music scene that mediacorp now has to nurse their frayed nerves and disappointment by giving them an acting stint?
It's going to be painful months of listening to their horrible voices, affected accents, and gaudy disgusting costumes.
Oh well...fingers crossed. the ratings will be so bad that they have to pull the show out before it's even done. but then again....there will be those fools who want to watch shit like that
brainwashing man!

Singaporeans must be very rich....calling in to support this and that.

When will they realise that donating time is more valuable than money?
The reason for the proliferationof all these crap TV series, and emergence of equally shit 'stars'
is more likely than not the result of our siiting around on our bums all day.
Blood doesn't get to the brain....aka....true vegetables. More specifically tubers.
(Couch potato LAH!)

cheers!
