Hi everyone, just back from foresterhill after the communication course
It's the last of the communication tutorials today and it was really fun
I like my communications tutorial group.
We're a nice mix of pple.
So today we were talking about team work. And we had to act out this
scenario where we were each one of the 9 remaining survivors in an air plane crash
I had the 'honour' of being a 10 year epileptic, on my way to UK to visit my 2 elder siblings
in boarding schools wiht my parents.
so basically there's this life boat which can fit only 4 pple and we were to discuss and
state our stand on why we wanted or did not want to be saved.
Well, needless to say I got a space on the raft without even having to fight for it.
The whole idea of being a epileptic child just won the jury over.
So it was really funny listening to the other dodgy characters tryng to win their
survival. but it was all good and educational. haha....

Well today was also the last lecture to be delivered by Professor Long
he's one of our main cells and molecules professors.
Really quirky, and stoically funny guy.
He's an English man and thus exudes typical english humor.
haha. I'm gonna miss him. He's a really good lecturer who knows how to balance
humor and scientific teaching nicely and tidily.
Though his appearance is seriously rather haphazard.
He has got like only 3 ties. and I think his fave is the blue pin striped one. haha
So you can predict what he wears everyday : White shirt. Tie. Black pants. Grey blazer
haha....CALL IN THE FASHION POLICE!
But he's really good and funny. And his notes are fine too which doesnt hurt too much.
and in addition to an extensive pool of biochemical knowledge, he knows
all about the major cartoons like sesame street, house on pooh corner etc.
It's quite amazing that he can draw examples from those shows.
YES! this proves my point that TV IS EDUCATIONAL!!!!

23rd October 2004
Hello Everyone!
Well, since Halloween @ Old Hallow’s Eve is just around the corner, I’ve decided to drop you this mail on what’s been going on around here. Well, personally I’ve never really celebrated Halloween back in S’pore and seriously, we don’t really care now do we? Haha…. So this year is really special for me coz it’s the first time I’m really celebrating Halloween, haha, all thanks to my flat mate Kate. Her birthday’s on the 30th of October so we decided to throw her a Halloween party cum birthday party. The downside ( personally ) is that we all have to attend the party in some sorta costume. Talk about being in the real spirit of Halloween. I’ve never been to a costume party so I tell them that I’m coming as a mummy, all wrapped up in toilet paper! Haha…just joking lah! But then again I really can’t think of anything to go as, maybe I’ll just turn up in my PJs and say that I’m the sand man or something. Frankly speaking, they were all very shocked that we don’t celebrate Halloween in Singapore and that I’ve never gone to a costume party. … Sigh…. Think of all the fun I’ve missed out.
So anyway, we went shopping this afternoon, to buy Kate her ceramic hair straightener and to shop for decorations. Really fruitful and cheap since it’s sales sales sales now. So we all chipped in a bit and got decent decorations as you can see in the photos below. I must say I couldn’t resist on the decorations shopping trip and got myself a glow in the dark ‘moaning stick’.

Well, this was part of the email that I sent out to some of you guys, if you didn't receive it. GO clear your mailbox! because the email comes with snap shots. haha....cheers!

ok so I'm back again. So much work, so little time. and peer pressure. Geez....
I thought I left those back in singapore.
Well, so I probably shouldn't be doing this right now.
But I need a break before the stress levels reach optimum.
haha so here I am.

Well...nothing much to say except that there's a lot of work these days
Been up at 745 am every morning.
in school by 9 am.
Thankful that the bus comes all the way into hill head and to marischall college.
Rain has been up and about all the time.
sigh...but it's not too bad.
Clears the air and makes it cool and fresh.
Aberdeen is a clean city after all.
okie then...that's about it.
Will go back to my books.
still have about 70 pages to go....
SIGH....

This week has been super hectic. Man....running here and there. staying till 5 in school. Geez...I've had 2 9-5 days consecutively
this week. Man....#
thankfully the stuff I had to stay back for was worth it. Otherwise I would feel just so damn
irritated and annoyed.

well...to talk about irritating. There are irritating pple.
Pple who talk to fucking much.
I mean seriously, no one is interested in
what your name means,
or that you've finished your work
or that your good.
( Because frankly speaking there are others better than you)
SO it has been work work work these days.
Peer pressure and all
Scary...these pple really study!
HAha....wishful thinking that everyone was like me slacking away!
Cheers!

Your and Innocent Unicorn! Innocent Unicorns are
very pure and good. They are the rarest of
types and sadly, are being hunted. Thats
because an Innocent Unicorn horn once removed
from the head, is worth alot of money, and if
left in holy water for a day, will turn into
diamond. Young Innocent Unicorns always stay
close to their mothers, and always will stand
by there side even when they grow. Innocent
Unicorns are said to be the friends of angels
and can dance on moonbeams. Innocent unicorns
represnt virginty, goodness, pureness, and
love. They always value friendship, and
familly, and are facinated by humans. Innocent
unicorns are shy, but if friends for someone,
its a friend to the end.

It's been days since I've updated on my blog. Partly because of this wretched flu and partly because I'm too lazy to do it.
haha...I'm just tired I guess.
Been running around town and all these days.

Well lets see...wat's happened so far?

school, work, study, rain, flu...blah blah blah....
Kinda weird that the fresher's flu has caught me so late.
haha...finally lost the battle.
It's very difficult when you're surrounded by pple wheezing, sniffling, coughing...
the irony of it all.

walked all the way to LIdl's just off the road to shop for REAL food
Canned food that parent's bored is just NOT good....
haha...will have to slowly and painful polish them off.
Bought, sauce, peas, ham, pork pies etc.
Made sphaghetti and mushroom sauce topped with sausages the other night.
What an achievement.

Last night's dinner achievement was much better.
Pork pie with 2 sausages all nicely grilled on the oven
with mashed potatoes and peas.
yummy...haha...I'm getting a hold of this.

Had first Anatomy class yesterday over at Marischall college in town.
haha...wat an experience.
Talk about all the respect that you are expected to give to the bodies.
we even have to attend a memorial service in may.
apparently the next of kin appreciate that we attend to show
our respect and appreciation for the generous donation.
Bought another white coat specially for anatomy and a box of gloves.
They must be using some kinda 'POwdeRFUL' embalming fluid, really stinks.
haha...no wonder we can't use our anatomy lab coat outside anatomy.
I wonder what I shall cook tonight? Tempted to do the same dish as last night.
MAybe I will, this time with some ham as well.
I have a tub of ham that needs to be polished off within 2 days of opening.
And I just opened it this morning.
Hope the fridge is working though.
tonight there's supposed to be a Singaporean student's fresher's party.
I don't know if it's going to be good.
I don't even know if I should go for it.
Well, guess that depends on how tired I am then.
Will probably be doing laundry this afternoon when I get back.
sigh....Laundry is a truly mundane thing.
But it's not too bad. just dump it in and run off to diddle with something else.
I miss my little cat.
BAby.....

You're a "Black Angel" which means youran Angel of Death. You don't really care muchabout people (and if you do, it's just a few) since
no one was particularly niceto you. You're always alone unless forced tobe with other people and you love to causetrouble. You feel depressed a lot and don'thave something that could cheer you up likemost people. You don't find joy in people but
probably something else. You love to be alone
to think and like the night because it provides
solitude. You're very secretive.(If you can't

BEN AND JERRY'S 'PHISH DELIGHTS' ICE CREAM RULES!
CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM, CARAMEL, MARSHIES AND FOR ITS NAMESAKE,
little SOLID CHOCOLATE FISH!

Decided to walk back to hillhead together with these two malaysian guys ( I honestly can't remember their names, but they're really nice. haha. My bad). It's the first time since I arrived that I took a walk through the dreaded Seaton Park. Apparently it's a definite NO NO to walk through that park at night. Those two guys actually professed that they did walk through the parks at night once before but from then on swore that they would NEVER traverse that park at night ever again. Hmm.....the rumors about those parks must be true then.

But seaton park is real beautiful in daylight.
Not as nice as the Crathes Estate parks but
a nice enough garden for your back door.
Literally. The short cut through the park, leads right to the back of the hill head residences.
But I probably won't want to walk through that forest path alone.
HAHA...
not so Garang after all.
So I reached home, returned my DVD on AMERICAN PIE 2. Uncut and unsensored.
haha...it was funny.
and Bought myself that tub of BEN AND JERRy's.
Lovely after meal snack.
Might be the reason for the worsening throat but....WHO CARES!!!!
spent the afternoon copying out my wretched notes.
had dinner of soup and toast.
drank a cup of Dana's miraculously healing christmas tea.
haha...really works. Throat feels better this morning!
YAY!

You are Fluffy Mackerel Pudding!! You somehow
manage to combine seafood and dessert into your
wonderfully fluffy world. We should all be as
tolerant of New Taste Sensations. And of
big-yolked eggs.

Back from a day of taking bus rides all around town. Managed to hop on a bus that took us to the seaside. more like ocean side. Pretty cool. literally. The water was frigid and it was rather amazing to see pple surfing or attempting to surf on those waves. The best part was when most of them could hardly even break enough water to send themselves into buoyancy. haha...futile.

The most interesting thing or should i say things about that place
was/were the rocks and pebbles that were washed on shore.
they were all nicely eroded into pebble and paper weight sizes
But the most interesting thing was their components
some of them actually glittered with some unbeknownst metal in the sun
some gold, some silver flashes.
Apparently, according to my peers there are a lot of oil well digging
going on around here so most possibly these rock come form within the mantle
of the earth. The stratification and compression marks on the
stones do confirm this hunch though.
haha..so much for secondary geography.
Managed to take photos with my newly aquired,
Day old handphone.
haha....nice. One more thing to ease the boredom.,
Went back into town after the beach.
Shopped around for some novels and managed to get
quite a few good deals.
Will suffice for the rest of the winter months.
unless i get my laptop to play those damn vcds that I brought.
Completed the Da Vinci code a couple of nights ago.
hmm...not too bad. Interesting ideas being played around there.
A good read nonetheless, though not for the highly religious.
Go read it.

You represent... angst.
You represent... angst.
You have an extremely cynical outlook on just about
everything. It's okay to sulk and be
depressed, but life is short, and you only get
one. It's only what you make it, and only you
can make it improve.

What feeling do you represent?

You're an Autum. You're much more laid back then
most and you're very comfortable in new
situations. You rather let things go with the
flow than try to change them. You have a lot of
close friends who love you because you can help
them with their problems. You're a very patient
person and it take a lot to get you rattled.
You're deffinately a lover not a hater. (If you
can't see tje pics, go to my homepage and look

Wind Dragons create tornadoes or Twisters at their fansy, but are very easily knocked over...
Your a wind Dragon! Hey, you, the smartest dragon
of the branch. You love reading and writing,
but are quite shy. Your IQ is probably sky-high
and your stories can win trophies. Your not
very good in sports, or maybe you are, and just
not inrested.. You are very wise, smart, and
kind.

The Moon Card
You are the Moon card. Entering the Moon we enter
the intuitive and psychic realms. This is the
stuff dreams are made on. And like dreams the
imagery we find here may inspire us or torment
us. Understanding the moon requires looking
within. Our own bodily rhythms are echoed in
this luminary that circles the earth every
month and reflects the sun in its progress.
Listening to those rhythms may produce visions
and lead you towards insight. The Moon is a
force that has legends attached to it. It
carries with it both romance and insanity.
Moonlight reveals itself as an illusion and it
is only those willing to work with the force of
dreams that are able to withstand this
reflective light. Image from: Stevee Postman.
