Just a little update....
apparently nobody's interested when I post my philosophical crap...sobz!
Anyways...just a little anecdote told by vicker's the consultant in charge of our teaching on monday's at the oncology ward.
"When you are testing the patient's visual acuity by asking them to read something to you,
please make sure that you know what you're asking them to read.
Many a times I have seen medical students just grabbing any form of magazine or reading material which is at hand and getting their patients to read it.
It's all fine till you hear a 66 year little old lady read out loud " I like rough sex." "
