Yoz minasan~!
Filling in this entry after quite some activity on this side.

It is Wednesday and I’m writing this entry in my room. Just returned from watching, Rebecca. This is a play based on Daphne Du Maurier’s classic masterpiece of the same name. The cast was led by charismatic actor Nigel Havers as Maxim de Winter, main character of the story. This is truly a great thriller in its own right…no wonder that it inspired Hitchcock to do a movie based on this work as well. Well…I suppose to be fair with the exception of Nigel Havers the rest of the cast was often if not always melodramatic haha…but well. It was all still well carried and presented, though I felt that more variation in terms of sets and costumes might have been a better idea.
But it was a great afternoon and me and Dana enjoyed bags of hot chips doused in salt and vinegar all the way back to the flat.
One of the great things of good ol’ Scotland, there’s always a little shop around the corner that sells great chips! Hooray!

Oh yes! Now let me tell you more about the HMT ( His Majesty’s Theatre ).
It is the oldest theatre in the entire UK apparently and it has just been reopened after 3 years of restoration and refurbishments. On the outside it may seem disappointingly modern with its glass panels and bistro but the actual stage and theatre is BEAUTIFUL!
It makes u feel as though you are in a scene from Phantom of the Opera. Chandeliers, Carved marble pillars, gilded banisters, plush carpets, thick heavy felt curtains. Takes your breath away!

Oh and the best thing was!!! Although me and Dana went for the Balcony tickets which were the cheapest tickets for the afternoon’s matinee on arrival at the theatre we were told that we had been UPGRADED to upper circle tickets!!! YAY!!! Haha…so we had a better view, at half the actual prize! The reason was that they didn’t have enough pple to fill the theatre so they upgraded us lot at the balcony! I love the way they do things here!

I foresee myself spending a lot of time at the HMT. Next thing I’m gonna watch will be the St Petersburg Ballet theatre’s production of La Bayadere and Swan Lake. YAY!
Will book my tickets soon!

Yup! And if u are wondering why in the world am I able to spend this Wednesday at the theatres….I had today off from school! Haha no school this Wednesday!! And on Monday and Tuesday I ended school at 12 noon. Hehe….tomorrow I end at 11.30 but I will be staying back and hopefully be able to clerk some patients and practice my examination skills on some of them.

Yeah…yesterday was a pretty lazy day too…man…this is bad I’m drifting into slovenly ways. Yesterday we had 3 lectures on Resuscitation and a CPC ( clinical postmortem presentations) haha….needless to say… no revision required for those. So I spent most of the afternoon watching anime and jap dramas. Then I went to sleep. Woke up at 7.30pm and decided to watch some more anime whilst eating dinner. And then Ameena from next door came over for a cup of tea together with Peter. And after that she invited me to come over to her room to view her DVD collection. And then I stayed there till ten to 12 midnight chatting and helping her and Noura with their tutorials. I think I’m going to charge them tuition fees. Haha that would be nice.

Oh yes! Housewarming last Friday was great. Had a whole lot of frens from last year and this year over. And needless to say they raided my anime collection but I got quite a bit from them too so it was fair trade. Well…I had my fair share of vodka, rum and wine so needless to say I was soon off to bed at around midnight. Haha the bewitching hour. Anyway, so I was lying in bed just about to drift off amidst the drunken laughter and music of the ongoing party and then Nic Dana’s CATHOLIC GOTH friend decided that she wasn’t getting enough attention and started a whole discussion on the why she felt the premature babies and babies born to women over the age of thirty should not live. In the case of premature babes it was because they had been rejected by their mother’s body and I forgot wat was her case for the over thirty women business. And this whole blah blah blah was carrying on right outside my room door. AARGH! I had a headache and I was tired and I just wanted to sleep. I soon drifted off to sleep when she decided to drift off and gain attention from another bunch of pple. Thank God. According to her presumable maybe 70% of us or thereabouts are the walking dead.

Hahaha….well that’s about it up till now. Hahaha….hope u guys like this extra long entry. Do pass comments and leave me msgs on the tagbox.

BTW, if u are wondering if my internet is up…it’s not. I’m typing this on word, saving it to my thumbdrive and cutting and pasting this when I get to school. Nasakenai ne atashi wa…..

Sorede…jaa!
