Right everyone! End of week update!
Yesterday was a superb day.
Was in uni from 10-11.30 for clinical skills. unfortunately it was my turn to be patient
but well i was well prepared...haha...appropriately geared up and such.
after that my friend offered to give me a lift all the way back to my place which was GREAT!!
especially since it was such a hot day.
After that, I walked to Taylor Building in Old Aberdeen to update my virus check and
utilise the wireless hotspot area to update my collection of manga and anime nusic videos.
Ah...the simple pleasures of life! I can't wait for my own internet to be up and running...and then
.....sigh....hopefully, fingeres crossed that the set up and all will be perfect,
I will be able to download and update my anime and movies collection.
So after that, went home, prepared for today's ward rounds and in the evening
went to a Creative Writing Society Meeting at the Red Lion Pub.
It's the first time i've ever been for one of those meeting, under partial duress of Dana no less.
But...it was quite interesting.
Basically wat happens is that each week members submit poem, bits of short stories or novels or full length novels and on Thursday evenings at 7pm they gather and each of the
pple who have submitted stuff read their own works to the rest of the group
and after that, the rest get a chance to comment or criticise it.
i liked it because the work that was written was really interesting, and some of it impressive
and most of it macabre and weird or..outrightly hilarious....
think about a Kangaroo humping a door and fondling himself through his pouch.. haha...story about a dress up party.
but the impressive work were really cool, dark, mysterious, sombre...things i like. and
THEY ARE NOT ALL NERDS!!! hahah...and they are not outrightly depressive
though a couple of them are on medication for hyperactiveness or OPD. haha...
but it was a fun night and we had a really good chocolate cake after that.
Well then we headed back and i guess that was it!
tonight goin to hold Housewarming party....wonder what that would be like.
