Filling in this entry after this weeks ward teaching.
Very interesting and educational week. Very glad to be on this ward.
It's an endocrine and diabetes ward, though u dun see such endocrine specific disorders in this ward...more of a variety of different cases, different sorts of symptoms and different illness and disease, often nothing to do with the endocrine system.

but it's still all good...because we get to practice our different skills of clinical examinations and it's more interesting as compared to seeing goitre adn DM all the time.

Today was especially good, because we were mainly concentrating on the respiratory system and there happened to be a good few patients with respiratory symtoms, so some of us got to interview them. me and my partner allison had a lady with DVT. but she was nice and had a pretty interesting history and allergy.
After we had convened after clarking our patients, a consultant on the ward, brought us and a willing, nice welsh man to the day room to show us how to take history and arrive at diagnosis..it was really beneficial.

right...enough about work. Been down with the flu recently. currently i have progressed to the cough stage. really horrid. just want to get it over and done with. hopefully soon enough. so annoying man. bloody hell...more then half of the entire class is wheezing, coughing, and dribbling....in bloody respiratory distress i must say.

well that's about alli have to say...nothing much interesting goin on in my life basically been studying and reading...terrible the amount of work lah.

jaa ne!
