had 3 lectures on infection in a row.... barely surviving.
sobz... now onto a 2.5 hour break.
in library...will be typing out notes...how annoyin.

Why can't the professors publish their notes quicker!

wrists are breaking....

YOZ! first day of school!
registration and 3 introductory lectures! MY god... I was comatose by the third.
This is a bad sign.

Anyway, today realised that there are quite a few freebies that can be gathered.
the best would be...an ENDLESS supply of white coats from the hospital
yes...u heard me right...
white coats! the identifying factor of a medic...aka....the dumb idiot who doesnt know anything
but enjoys gawking at old, obese geezers.

yes! and they are cool coz they are stamped with either NHS or ARI (Aberdeen Royal Infirmary) at the back....cool yeah?!

well...so that's basically all i have to say for today...tomorrow things start to heat up
5 lectures on infection!!! AARGH!

oh and we have ward based teaching every thursday or friday....
MAn! have to get my wardrobe in order...
actually i'm quite surprised that we start clinicals so early this year...
shows u how much i know about my own course...hahaha!

yoz everyone!
Back in Aberdeen! managed to unpack most of my stuff!
LOVE MY ROOM!!!! It's big, it's airy, the mattress is SUPERB!!! so soft and comfy.
Lots of storage space and a a great big bookshelVE!!!
WOW! haven't had time to take photos of it though.

Busy busy busy...
grocery shopping, and now trying to get my broadband and landline settled. very stressful!
so don't expect to hear from me much till i actually get my internet settled.
(for those of u who haven't realised, I'm typing this in school.)

but it feels great to be back in ABerdeen! The weather is lovely by its standards.
the air is fresh and clean and the crowds aint to bad.
happy to be back with my nutty mates Dana and noura. But this year we have all descended into
a slovenly sort of mess.
blame it on the couch in our common area. Yes! We now have a full length couch and coffee table to boot....
hillhead is a long distant and horrible memory that i'm quite sure none of us want to remember.
but I still think it's a good idea that freshers spend a year in Hillhead, haha...then they will realise and experience the torment of enclosed, badly ventilated areas and being surrounded by
godawful drunks and disgusting minstrels that belt out tortured songs at 3am on a cold winters evening.

on another happy note (i think),
got my timetable for the next five weeks...not too bad i must say...
most days i'm in at ten am. latest day ends at 4 pm.
got some free days here and there. some days i end at 11.30am.
not too bad ne?!

but that probably means a whole load of self study on the sideline.
I really want to get my internet up and going so that i can do CAL (computer assisted learning) in the comfort of my room and ditch the darn lesson.

sobZ! Please GOD! Please let my internet set up and everything go well!!!!

oh and for those of u who can or can't believe it ... I haven't watched any anime since I reached here. and i actually finished reading through my first lecture for monday morning.
argh...miracles do happen i suppose.
