Hi EVERYONE!
I'm 20! Aargh....I'm aging.........slowly and surely.
But I don't care.
not tat much anyway.

Well...my birthday would have been a terribly boring one spent studying if it hadn't
been for my wonderful flatmates!

Dana, Vic, Nourah, Ameena (from opposite flat)
Thank you!
I love you guys!
YOu've given me one of the best birthdays ever and it's away from home.
Actually, I think that it's the most festive and wonderful birthdays thus far...

Well.....so here's what happened yesterday.

They prepared and cooked for me cous cous (flavoured rice) and fresh salmon steak
and they got me a very nice bottle of wine
After the lovely dinner,
It was cake time. Thick, creamy chocolate cake....mmmmm.....my favourite
Then it was presents time!

Here's a rundown on the haul...

1) A pot of hyacinth bulbs (from everyone) --- Everyone should have their own plant. :)

2) A £30 James Dun's House voucher. This place is an Ayurvedic (I think) spa and massage palour. (from everyone)
hehe....can finally enjoy a wonderful revitalising full body massage!

3) A £10 voucher to spend at Waterstones ( a rather expensive bookstore, so the voucher will help :) )
( from Tauriq - this guy who is a friend of the flat. Actually quite surprised by this gift, since I'm not that close a friend to him as Nourah is. But still it's very nice. :) )

4) A card with all sorts of scribbly and unintelligible handwriting which conveys ( I'm sure )
well wishes and happiness!

We had fun, talked, and basically we all had a good time.

People say that it's possible to have a home away from home.
I've always been skeptical about this but...
at this point in time, Flat 90 and Aberdeen has the best home away from home.
