Heyz again. today was a sorta short long day. Had kinda lax and fun lectures, but some how I feel real tired. Maybe it's the heavy lunch I had this afternoon. the heaviest meal I've had since I arrived here. Jimmy chang's Buffet....looking at the food I ingested this afternoon, I realise why ang mohs think that asian food is weird when they actually do eat asian food IN asian countries. the food that was served was like fried chicken, and all those sorta fried tim sum thingies. Lotsa meat. But the good thing was that the chinese dishes that they prepared, for example, stir fried beef etc. did taste authentic. Certainly better than and chinese buffet we had back in glasgow the last time.
Bought another set of duvet covers. and a proper mug. £1.99 for the duvet @ quilt covers and 75p for the mug.
The good thing about here is that if you go to those sorta charity shops
you'll probably be able to find excellent deals on quality products.
and the hunt for these elusive items is certainly very exciting.
doing good and having fun shopping at the same time.
you can't beat that.
today there was a computer course for the medics.
Kinda funny, coz the computer lab was located...guess where?
In the Zoology Museum.
so it was kinda cool doing emails and attachments etc. whilst being surrounded by ancient dinosaur fossils and stuffed animals.
talk about ambience.
this morning's first lecture was held in the
New King's building.
One of the oldest and newly refurbished buildings.
Man....it was as though we were having lectures in a cathedral.
Talk about high walls, long windows.
Wooden benches and a masive board in front of you.
Make no mistake though.
It's all fully wired up with all the necessary and even additional IT and
informatics stuff.
Managed to chat with frens and family back home!
YAY! time differences does not make that much of a difference.
feeling real tired now..but have to go revise work and all... sobz
I have to get the momentum right or I'll just die.
haha....
the difficult part is always knowing where to start.
and When to start.
And the time is NOW.
