Hiez everyone! Looks like I keep on going out these days. haha...at least the spending urges cramped by sickness have now risen from the recesses of sickness. *tsk tsk* that's not good.
Anyway, so went out for lunch and shopping with my long time pal Zhu today. She's leaving on tuesday for suzhou and then onward bound to Toronto to study bio chem. haha...that's nice. So guess this was our sorta last trip out together for a long time to come....*sigh*
So in true, ET and Zhu fashion, we had to have lunch at Swenson's. Haha...her last taste of ice-cream delight for some time. (her home town dun have swensons. hehehe) *sigh* had to foot the bill for the regular earthquake. Rather disgusted with that PS outlet of Swenson's though: They were clearly trying to cut back on expenditure by not stocking up on favourite flavours. Face it! I got really irritated after being told that all the flavours that I had selected were not available. In the end I just asked the woman " SO wat flavours do you have?" She gave me an unsatisfactory answer and had the cheek to ask me to select double scoops of flavours. *tsk tsk* BAD BUSINESS PLOY!!!!
After lunch had a shop around PS, nothing nice at all. Too used to that place. Decided to check out on watches. Haha...planning to get a new one.
All you guys please give me suggestions for watches!! Nothing too interesting, was contemplating on a Fossil watch, but then decided that the battery expecnditure and distracting changing displays, was something that wasn't too appealing or needed. So the search goes on....*sigh* Plan to charge this to college fund. *hehe* hope I can slip it past the two heads.
SO we moved down to orchard. *sigh* been there like so many damn times the past week. Can't be helped when you're cooped in a place with only one prime shopping district. So shopped around, got a little tote bag, a gift for my mum and walked around a bit. Then we went to Far EAst...again. I guess that was where the highlight of the trip occured when we went and took neoprintz and those card like thingies. Haha....yea yea....kinda overexagerated you may think but then again, you're talking abt two unphotogenic pple, who can't read jap, and rarely waste money on slot machines. haha. yea so $14 dollars later found us with stickers and a card each. It was nice coz it was a pictorial representation of our friendship and a means by which we could possible remember our youth by twenty years down the road ( really pushing it here....I really have to keep it in a safe or something. Little things usually get lost in my collection of rubbish. youth.....I dun think I have it anymore. SObZ!!!) Oh another thing, that a neoprintz retard like me didn't noe: With the newer machines (i.e those which you blow $9 on *sigh*) they actually help you touch up on your skin tone and add an 'incredible' shine to your locks. They actually make you select your prefered skin tone prior to everything. haha...much like selcting the foundation for your make up, except that you have only four shades and 30 seconds to make a decision. SO....just imagine the flustered pair cooped in that stall. Haha....dunno why but taking a neoprint is like a super difficult and stresssful event. Doesn't really help when there's this damn jap bimbo squealing hysterically at you and bugging u to hurry up and select. *sigh* Jap innovations. ( The good thing about this 'experience' was actually the cards which were a bargain at $5 for 2 . With free lamination. haha...sorry, just had to use my liberty to be kiasu. Hope you haven't forgotten about the liberty business......)
YEa so after all the hustle and frantic tapping managed to finish the keepsake formation activity and all to soon we had to bid goodbye. For a very long time. *sigh* ....but then again there's this chinese saying .....tian xia you wu bu zi yan xi. Sorry you have to go decipher it yourself coz I SUCK at han yu pin yin. yea so anyway, I understand that it means something like 'goodbyes are not forever' ( I hope....hehe)
YEa so Zhu, as goodbyes' are not forever, here's me saying " See ya again ASAP!!!! and All the Best!!!! Remember to inform me about your blog! ( if you ever get down to doing it....hehehe)"
Cheerio!!!!
