HEYZ everyone! BAck again...these pages have been quiet and neglected...a mirror of my rather mundane and over-indulged boredom. Well, so finally had some real great fun this everning! Yeah!
Met up with my secondary school khakis this evening for dinner. Jiahui(France) , Lilian(Germany), and Louisa(Singapore), all members of the infamous UN group in SNGS. ( YOurs truly was USA...haha, goes to show you wat an ignorant dumb fool I was back in Sec sch, but well...somethings never change)
Beginning to see a consistency in the success of these meetings. They're always fun, not stressful, and natural. Sigh....why can't all my outings be just so. SO we had dinner at Magic Wok in Far East (supposedly authentic Thai food..passable for an episode of Faking It). Alright, so the environment and surroundings wouldn't be exactly considered as bearable by my standards ( but then again....my standards are unachieveable. *sigh* the ideal world...), but with these great pple, heck those other inconsequential, irritating pple in the background, together we are a contendable irritating force. haha!
Yup, so basically had dinner than walked around and did a spot of shopping, went into major earring purchasing craze! So I bought a couple of pairs to top up my current collection of studs. I dun care what anyone says, I LOVE dangly earrings. To me the ultimate reward after weeks of painstaking care and infection prevention of newly pierced ears is the fun part of filling up those miniscule holes with ornaments. Hah! Vanity, the devil's favourite sin. But rest assured, I dun think I'll be indulging in any more piercings. My skin's just too sensitive and I dun think I have the patience to tend to new mutilations. Haha...
So after having indulged in real shopping after a siesta of around 3 weeks, we headed to Starbucks for coffee and chit chat. Haha....the gradual decrease in customers at that place was not subtle at all, half an hour after our arrival, pple started evacuating the place. Well, couldn't say I blame them, just picture this : 4 gals, all outspoken, all vocally dominant, all prone to hysterics. Not a pretty picture I must say. I think the other customers ought to be glad that we weren't there in full UN attendance: Our critical Japanese ally, Cai Lin, had been absconded by some damn NUS camp.
Well, so we were just hanging out there, reminescing about our past. Man, did we do some CRAZY SHIT back then. Talking abt those stuff really makes me wonder how we managed to escape the clutches of straitjackets. It's actually kinda amazing how you can remember stuff form yesteryears. Somehow, you forget the important tests, the excellent or horrible grades, all you remember are the stupid, insane stuff you and your mates partook in. That's so good. That's why I LOVE hanging out with them. It's pure FUN. It's pure FRIENDSHIP. ( Well, sometimes not so pure, I admit...but tat's another story) IT's PUre JOY!!!!
Well, so I guess the only point I'd like to make with this entry is:
HAve fun with your bosom buddies. Make crazy memories. When you're together, be creative, talk about stuff other then, the test you took 5 minutes ago. Life's too short to spend time complaining and worrying about the past (it's taking me a long time to understand that) Don't be afraid to do stupid things in front of your friends: If they're really your friends, they'll act stupidly along with you. AFter all, a good fren should be laughing with you and not AT you. If they don't, a good fren won't mind if you trash them for that.
Bottom line: Make good friends. YOu'll meet assholes along the way but hey, once your bitten continuously, you'll gradually grow numb to the sting. Hopefully. Have fun with your mates! DOn't take them for granted! Socialise.
Right, so to you great people, you made me have a helluva great time tonight. So thanks alot! The cloud of boredom was lifted with the excessive hysterical laughter you brought tonight. Here's to many more GReat Times!!!! CHeers!
Sigh...I really should get down to writing a book. Probably will give the comic MAD a run for it's money. Hey....au natural jokers and comedians don't come everyday you know.
