Hiez...today was appointments, appointments, appointments.
HAd a late night and woke up just in time to head down to SGH for a meeting regarding the paper. Janise, we still have the end of the month deadline. Trying to get the paper into the Annals ( sounds rather vulgar but,...): Academy of medicine Singapore. Must use some kinda 'catastrophe' technique on Dr. Chua : Load him with multiple emails regarding the stats. hehe...this was the explanation and suggestion from Dr. Howe. (Hi Dr. Chua, if you're reading this....Stats Analysis please, really need it to complete the paper by next week. Thank you! :))
Yup, so after the meeting went for dinner and drinks with my UN khakis plus liqin (mimi yan) and 'ohlium' (sorry, didn catch your real name as jiahui kept calling you ohlium) had dinner at Scotts food court, where we discovered that wretched 'germany' Lilian had played us out....well....let's just say that lulu is probably headed down to paya lebar to have it out with her....haha....battle of the swimmer and the lian...how fascinating. Yeah.....so dinner was the usual gossip and jokes. hehe....with newcomers to the group we have to repeat old gossip in exchange for new 'news'.
After that we headed down to China Black for Ladies' Night. Here, I have to blame Lilian for not coming with us as she was supposed to bring us to that darn place. Well, anyway, we ended up in the stupid queue outside, which I must add queues are not my forte and having to stand in line with Ah Bengs and Ah Lians are not exactly wat I would consider as 'fun', thankfully, I had my khakis to 'entertain' me. After 20 minutes, we entered to discover that every table was reserved, but anyways, we just plonked ourselves down onto a reserved table. haha... Yeah, I actually, didn't like the place, partly coz we were seating behind this bunch of bengs who were smoking away! ( I HATE SMOKERS!!!! GO STICK YOUR MOUTHS IN EXHAUST PIPES AND BREATHE DEEPLY! IT SURE BEATS SUCKING WISPS OF PATHETIC SMOKE!!!!) But yeah, it's good that the drinks were free and the company was good. Soon discovered that there were a lot of SN gals there. Haha....and it was kinda nice that we remembered each other....at least the rest did, not so me. Hehe....I've got bad memory. hehe.
But, anyway, we left really early, around ten plus, I actually was kinda glad coz the the party was about to start and the music was getting SUPER loud, and all the mist and stuff was making visibility equivalent to tat when the PSI is 75. ANd the worst thing was that I couldn't here wat everyone around me was saying....that sure did kill the fun of it...so we left. Haha....I noe you true blue clubbers will think we're crazy but....to each his own. YEah so Jiahui's mum gave me a lift home and I started to do research on laptops and plowing true my lib books. I seem to be contributing a great amount to the library fund with all the fines I'm paying for my overdue books.....sigh....thank me when you get a community library at your neighbourhood.
