Man...woke up today to a very interesting sms...
It was a message from my form teacher Ms hor..."Hi results confirmed on Friday..." Well it never hurts to get additional confirmation on important matters yeah? Well after knowing for two weeks this notice seved to heighten the reality of it all. Aargh...insecurities....panic...infuriation, depression, disgust on recalling the stupid mistakes comitted and wondering how they might affect the marks and all....SHIT!!!!!!
Okie so today was a rather mundane and worrisome day tats all I can say realli. Read the papers, had lunch of veggie and salmon. rather nice. Read driving book infront of the telly. Somehow I feel tat I can't realli get myself down to do anything proper or decisive these days. It realli is a matter of things coming to a standstill until the results are out and the future is more of less clearer. At this point of time if i can meet the academic requirements of the conditional offer from a UK med school I will be overjoyed and satisfied already. 
Talking abt med school and everything brings to mind an issue that was debated in the straits times forun a couple of days ago. It was regarding the questionable and outright outrageous individuals who were being admitted into the NUS Med fac. Man...the medical system in Singapore is highly dependent on individuals who decided, and grudgingly, went to Med school reason being....
1. I couldnt get into law school
2. MY parents want me to be a doctor ( hot reason)
3. I got 4 As...if I dun go to med school it will be such a waste.
Yes...they are INDEED very WORTHY people.
Well the sad thing abt all this is that people who realli know wat being a doctor is abt and have that much comitment and passion to the profession are denied the opportunity. Why? Because their personal reasons and proclamations of their passion are deemed as fake and unbelieveable. Yeah so I guess the above reasons will be appplauded coz they are realli truthful huh? Well...the future physicians cultivated from such stock will be pple who are not ashamed to proclaim their absolute disgust at wat they are doing. cheers....
right then that's realli wat i have to say...two more days in counting....
