Aloha again!!!

well today was rather routine and fun. Went to the child @ street 11 childcare centre. Today fontane came with her harp. The kids had a blast. i was relieved from having to do a painful rendition of the first stanza of the pink panther. they love that. but unfortunately due to my accelerated clarinet studies to meet O levels, i only know classical pieces. So thankfully they love simple childish rhymes that i can easily comply with some fingering. Anything to the rhyme of 'twinkle twinkle little star' brings the laughter and continuous requests. yup and today they drew pictures of what they felt the music represented to them. The session yielded very interesting results. These kids sure do have a lot of potential.

At such a young age they are already doing fantastic copies of the works of picasso and miro. I started working with them abt a week or so ago and i must say that this childcare centre realli does do wonders for these kids. All i can say is that they have been through a lot more then most of us teenagers and adults will probably go through in our entire lives. and they are only from the ages of 2 to around 5. I'm realli glad the centre is doing all they can to help them and encouraging their creativity and discovering their potential. Two Thumbs up for ya Guys!

Aargh....even though i'm not working currently i still feel the stress of sleep deficiency and fatigue. My bio clock is warped. I still sleep as late if not later than i used to in the school year. 2 or 3 if i'm lucky. 4 or 5 if i'm not. I'm not insomniac. I just like staying up late. the presence of stuff to do like reading and a free movie channel doesn't help. At least the free movie channel is gonna end in less than a week. but i still have a whole collection of books waiting to be read. Doesn't matter realli. i'll just catch up on sleep on the weekends. Just like everyone else.

Hope i dun crash the car with a meagre 5 hrs of sleep tml!
